CONSULTING

Building relationships is critical to connecting with the right people at the right time, no matter the issue or the policymaker.
LOBBYING

Effective lobbying requires an understanding of the process, the policy, and the players.
COMMUNICATIONS

Consulting, lobbying and communications -- my experience, knowledge and associations connect all three.
“Jim’s a consummate economic development pro and a great representative for Volusia County.  He takes the time to do his due diligence and is masterful at pulling together the right people to address an issue.“

Daytona Beach News-Journal, Feb. 21, 2021                                                                  Frank DiBello, CEO of Space Florida
"Jim's been a guy who’s very focused on issues.  When he gets on an issue, he's like a dog on a deer.  He was very much involved in helping to get the state legislature to approve using (hotel) bed tax revenues to finance the convention center.“

Daytona Beach News-Journal, Feb. 21, 2021                                                                          Hyatt Brown, Chairman, Brown & Brown Inc
“Jim’s first-hand understanding of issues cuts across a wide array of disciplines with a unique combination of experience, networking, and the resolve to win.  That’s necessary in order to thrive in Florida’s state and local complex political landscape.”
Glenn Ritchey, Former Daytona Beach Mayor
“When I visited and spoke with people throughout Daytona Beach and Volusia County, I became quite aware not only how much Jim knew about Volusia County but how well thought of and revered he was throughout the community.  His knowledge of the background of every imaginable issue was invaluable to me and influenced my strategy and approach to complex situations that required nuance and delicacy for success.”

Michael H. Kahn, Esq.
“These days ‘lobbyists’ are often called many things mostly with negative connotations. That is NOT Jim Cameron.  He is friendly, courteous, personable and knowledgeable.   Jim has been a valuable asset to all of Volusia County for over 30 years.”
Jim Wachtel, President
DJ Design Architects / Planners
